The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Foundation VECCF Logo

Welcome to the website of The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Foundation. In August 2003 the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Foundation (VECCF) was officially formed and recognized. The Foundation is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit association and is managed by a Board of Directors and a group of advisors. VECCF is a completely separate organization from VECCS.

The VECC Foundation has been formed with the primary objective of supporting research, education and training with funding that is not readily available from other sources. Special projects to include disaster relief funds may also be identified for VECCF support. Donations to the VECCF are tax deductible (under charitable organizations) and are being solicited from corporate and private donors. We are very hopeful that VECCS members will take the opportunity to support the Foundation through individual or practice donations (see membership application form).

The ultimate goal is to fund selective educational, research and training projects that will raise the level of patient care for critically ill and injured companion animals.
